Well... as i have not yet seen the movie I can't speak to the acting of Maggie Gyllenhall, but that woman is a hottie.

Secretary... come on... that was some good shit.

I am sure there will be a lot of discussion at Comic Con regarding this movie. Speaking of which, when you arrive in town pick up "The Reader" and "City Beat. " They will have a ton of info on all the parties/events going on for that weekend......

I loved the Joker too--he played it just up to the tipping point but didn't go over the top. Dude, you kinda spoiled it there if someone hasn't seen the movie though with the Two-Face outing! He was pretty bland but I really liked this movie. and I agree about the Batman Voice--i kept thinking, is that him or did they dub an effect over it?

You think people don't know that two-Face is in the movie?

If they didn't, then they are morons. Gotta get ready to see it at 7:30, peace out!~ Oh and your reviews Steve will be cross examined by meh. However I do have to say Batman's voice is a bit...umm...lame.

Dun da dunn...stay tuned superhero fans!

well, that was half facetious, but when I was in the theater Wed. morning there were people that didn't know who Harvey Dent was at all sitting behind us until it came out and the guy said, "oh YEAH, I thought that name sounded familiar". Seriously. Granted, it was a private screening full of contest winners, not real Batman fans.

btw, sorry for another post but are you following the NIN stuff going on? Trent is using googleearth to make people go on a scavenger hunt for tix to a private show--it's awesome, you should check it out, they're going nuts in LA. if you want to see it, go here: http://feeds.nin.com/ninNews

Just got back from the film and Heath truly blew me away. I couldn't tell whether I was more entertained or creeped out, but either way ... I have no words.

Gyllenhaal = a sad cartoon turtle, via Precious Moments

I have a theory that Salvatore Maroni will be the future Riddler. There's just something about that damn cane of his that gets me thinking ...

ha ya kind of my impression of it prior to seeing it having not yet seen it.

Agreed on almost everything, except I was fine with the extra screen time for Gordan and Dent.

The "Batman voice" was seriously off, he made it sound like Batman had lung cancer. I kept waiting for hacking, coughing, and wheezing. I'm really tired of the super close up fight scenes though. I'd rather see what's really going on. The fights in Batman Begins (out of the suit anyway) were much better.

Glad there will be a new car in the next one though. It was time for new tech.

I love this new series due to the reality aspect of them. It just feels more realistic, more like it could happen. There's no comical Mr. Freeze or the like. So long as Robin stays out of them they should be pretty good.

I haven't seen it yet...plan to wait a couple weeks for the hype to die down. I'm looking forward to it especially Heath's role, however I am going in w/slight reservations. Yeah..WTF is it w/the "Batman voice"? It's so stupid and forced. King of cheddar.
Just saw Hellboy this weekend. And I will agree....Ironman wins hands down thus far as THE superhero movie for me this summer. No question.

Pretty much agreed on all counts... the Batman "voice" just ruined it for me too. Joker, five stars. The movie without the joker in it, barely three stars.

Every time Bale did that voice, I just pictured Homer Simpsons "whisper" voice and tried not to laugh my ass off.

Have fun in California, I was wondering when you were going to visit!!!
